August Newsletter

Summer, summer, summer time…..

There are many things you can rely on in England during July and August; the roads are quieter (yay!), there will be an abundance of rain (not so yay) and the property market dies a death.

Not so for the property market as experienced by The Personal Agent.  July saw our most successful month in our 11 year history having agreed more sales in this time than ever before.  There are, of course, sections of the property market that fluctuate depending on buyers' requirements but with Epsom, Ewell and Stoneleigh offering properties across pretty much all sections of the market there really never is a quiet time.

On The Market has gone from strength to strength with the latest figures showing a record 5.2 million hits in July. The decision to promote our clients’ properties via OnTheMarket was well researched and the figures confirm that the combination of www.rightmove.com and www.OnTheMarket.com is the most powerful combination of portals available alongside our own website www.thepersonalagent.co.uk.

We are also still the Number One agent on Rightmove both for properties listed and sales agreed across the Epsom, Ewell and Stoneleigh area and what’s more the statistics on Rightmove show that we have significantly fewer properties reduced in price than the competition.

We hope you all are enjoying the British summer and fingers crossed for at least a couple more BBQ days!

June Newsletter

Welcome to our newsletter. So much has occurred since our last publication; we have a Conservative Government, we have a new Princess, and at The Personal Agent we have had our most successful month in our 11 year history.

This led to us thinking – What does ‘success’ mean and how do you measure it?

For the Conservatives their success was tailored around delivering a message that people believed in and being considered a safe pair of hands when confronted with many different options. For those in and around the Duchess during the birth their success would have been making her time with them as smooth and stress free as possible.

For us at The Personal Agent these are areas that we are driven to excel in and that stand us apart from the crowd. Success to us is having clients choose to intrust us with what is likely their most valuable asset when there are other choices available and ensuring that once they have done so we provide a level of service that ensures the marketing, sales and aftersales process are as smooth and stress free as possible.

Alongside this of course we want to sell properties! In April we agreed the sale of £16,000,000 worth of properties in our Epsom branch alone. We also brought more properties to the market than any other agent. These are figures that we are of course proud of, but the business that we continue to receive from recommendations and referrals is our true measures of success.

We hope you enjoy our newsletter and have a successful month, whatever success means to you.

October Newsletter

Welcome to our October Newsletter

We are pleased to report another busy period in both the sales and lettings markets. After a busier than normal summer period we are now in full swing with buyers, tenants, and homeowners hoping to have completed their transaction before Christmas. All four of our branches have more buyers and tenants than stock, with several properties receiving multiple offers. The market has paused for breath as prices have calmed down after the initial frenzy early on in the year, but buyers and tenants are still aplenty. “We are putting this down to several factors” comments Rupert Briggs. “ The local area has numerous good schools so people are always moving to be in the catchment areas.” “Also, Zone 6 being implemented has been a positive factor as more buyers are moving out from London”. “Coupled with record low interest rates, the economy going from strength to strength, we can see there there being no let-up in the market”.

July Newsletter
