On Saturday 25th July, Shaun Young and Cat Mahoney from The Personal Agent’s Epsom branch were busy in the town centre raising money for Diabetes UK.
Following his successful London to Paris bike ride and charity raffle, Shaun donned his Minion costume in Epsom town centre in his quest to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.
Meeting and greeting plenty of locals and bringing a smile to the faces of many as Stuart the Minion, he got plenty of donations as he spent the day peddling away.
The total raised on the day was another &101.00! Meaning to date the current total raised has been just under &1,400 a brilliant effort from all involved.
On the 28th June the ladies of our lettings office took part in this year’s Race for Life charity event, which helps raise money for Cancer Research UK. Race for Life takes place throughout the year in different locations nationwide and has been running since 1994 with over 5.4 million participants.
The Personal Agent’s team raised a fantastic grand total of &502! Well done ladies!
The 9th Annual Supercar Event was held this year at Dunsfold Park in Cranleigh (the site of the Top Gear test track) and being a noted 'petrol head' himself, Rupert Briggs of The Personal Agent was in attendance along with thousands of other avid motorists to enjoy a day of fun, fast cars and fundraising.
The event, which organisers lovingly refer to as ‘Dad’s Day Out’ was another huge success with over &115,000 being raised for The Children’s Trust charity (beating last year’s record of &95,000) with car fanatics coming from all over to drive some of the world’s rarest and most expensive sports cars. With rides in over 260 super cars, including Lamborghini’s, Ferraris, TVR and the event sponsor’s Lexus LFA supercar and the most expensive Ferrari ever built, the LaFerrari which costs in excess of a million pounds the day was a huge hit for all in attendance.
Well done to Rupert and everyone who attended the event in helping to raise so much money for charity!
